L’Dough V’dough Challah Baking with Holocaust Survivors.

L’Dough V’dough Challah Baking with Holocaust Survivors.
Join us on Thursday afternoon August 22nd from 3:30-5:30 as we bake our own individual challahs and also talk to Holocaust Survivors. L’Dough V’Dough is a unique and meaningful program that connects students, young adults, and families with Holocaust Survivors for intergenerational dialogue, exploration of personal narratives, and learning about Jewish life before, during and after the Holocaust. Evoking the Hebrew phrase l’dor v’dor, or “from generation to generation,” L’Dough V’Dough programs connect each of us with Holocaust survivors – passing on life stories one generation to the next.

The Women of CBE, CBE Programs and the L.A. Museum of the Holocaust are sponsoring this wonderful program, available for elementary school students through adults, $5 per person. You will be able to take your challah home for Shabbat the next day! Light refreshments will be served.
