About the Event
This month's book is The Life We Bury by Allen Eskens
Student Joe Talbert has the modest goal of interviewing a stranger and writing a brief biography of the them. He unexpectedly finds Carl Iverson, a dying Vietnam veteran, and discovers he has been medically paroled after spending thirty years in prison for the crimes of rape and murder. As Joe unravels the tapestry of Carl's conviction, the stakes grow ever higher.
