Monthly Mitzvah

January: Pet Supplies

This month we're collecting items for Wildlife Care of Southern California, located right here in Simi Valley! This is a very important organization that rescues, rehabilitates, and releases injured or orphaned wild animals. They also work to educate people on how to coexist with our wild neighbors when we encounter them. Some of the items needed are listed below, or click HERE for a full list on their website (scroll to the bottom of the page).

  • Dog and cat kibble or canned food

  • Beef baby food

  • Carrots

  • Birdseed

  • Dish soap

  • Dish gloves

  • Animal crates

  • Towels

  • Newspaper

  • Heating pads that do not automatically shut off

Drop off donations in the Temple lobby; look for the big bin with Social Action signage!

Please sign up to help Rabbi Michele (michmich805@gmail.com) with our monthly mitzvah projects! Making a big difference can start with small steps! Todah rabah!
