Monthly Mitzvah Collection
April: Chametz
For April, we are collecting chametz, food that is not kosher for Passover. Tradition states that items such as pasta, beans, rice, popcorn, and breadcrumbs should be removed from the home while preparing for this holiday. Please donate non-perishable items in non-breakable, unopened containers. Food collected will go to the Samaritan Center of Simi Valley.
