About the Event
At this service, we will be joined by Randy Schwab, General Manager of Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries, who will speak on the topic of "Gifting your legacy, Creating an Ethical Will".
Mr. Schwab joined Mount Sinai in 2021. Throughout his tenure at Mount Sinai, Mr. Schwab has been instrumental in developing significant new areas of both parks, including the building of the first dedicated Tahara room, the new chapel and administration building in Hollywood Hills, and a dedicated Green Burial area in Simi Valley, Teva. He has also been instrumental in reimagining the community grants program, which now provides over $500,000 each year to synagogues and Jewish community groups to support Jewish Life in Los Angeles. Before joining Mount Sinai, Randy served as the Chief Executive Officer of Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles for 10 years. Prior to becoming CEO, he spent 5 years as the Executive Director of Temple Isaiah in Los Angeles. Prior to working with non-profit organizations, Randy owned and operated a jewelry design and manufacturing business for 24 years. Mr. Schwab has also serves on the Board of Los Angeles Jewish Health (The Jewish Home), and the Board of Sinai Temple. Randy lives in Los Angeles, is married to Laurie Dworsky, and has 2 children, Jonathan and Andrew.
